ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: times vary as i currently work from home. my pace is medium to fast. occasionally i'll have a busy day, but i usually reply to tags within a day. sometimes i'm around to boomerang.
BRACKETS/PROSE: i tend to use brackets, but i'm still descriptive with medium to long tags. if it really bothers you, let me know and i can write prose (but i might accidentally slip into brackets sometimes out of habit, so please be patient with me).
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: there isn't really anything that's off the table as far as potentially triggering topics for me. i'll let you know if something's making me uncomfortable, but i doubt it will ever come to that.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: you can try, but i can't guarantee a positive reaction. at this canon-point, walter sees himself as a heterosexual, married man, so it's going to be a long while before he voluntarily does anything to go against those things. while under the influence of aphrodisiacs, however, anything is possible. after a canon update, it's likely that he will feel less obligated to remain faithful in his marriage (once he finds out about Skyler's affair).
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: yes! walter isn't exactly a prizefighter, but he'll try to hold his own. it takes a lot for him to physically attack anyone unprovoked, but he will defend himself if attacked first. please ask before causing any serious or permanent injuries.
RELATIONSHIPS: unlikely unless something develops slow-burn over a long period of time. at this canon-point, he considers himself to be a faithful, married man.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: walter has no mind-reading abilities, though he's intelligent and observant. i'm okay with other characters reading walter's mind. if you write your character as mind-reading, i'll provide information as to walter's thoughts in my tags. contact me if you have any specific questions for information you want your character to know about walter or if you need any clarifications.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: walter has no magical skillset. i'm fine with magic being used on him, but would prefer you contact me to ask if it's something that would cause a permanent or long-term change, or will otherwise affect how i write my character.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: walter has inoperable lung cancer, stage 3a. otherwise, he has no significant medical issues and is an average fifty-year-old. he wears glasses for distance and reading.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: There aren't any topics specifically off-limits to discuss with Walter. He won't react positively to anyone who is condescending or otherwise attempts to belittle him. He is easily annoyed by unintelligent and/or immature people. He's also easily annoyed by entitled people, and those who haven't had to work for what they have. As far as potentially triggering topics: if you're unfamiliar with Breaking Bad, it contains several dark themes including: drug addiction (specifically methamphetamine and heroin), illegal manufacturing and sale of drugs (in particular methamphetamine), murder, adultery, terminal illness (cancer), etc. I'll make sure to label tags with appropriate content warnings. If you don't want to interact with Walter, contact me and I'll make sure he doesn't approach your character.

BACKTAGGING: i will happily backtag. if a thread is dragging and there isn't anything significant going on, i'm okay with handwaving/discussing the close. but, if there is anything significant that is supposed to happen in the thread, particularly with cr or character development, i'd rather write it out than handwave.

OLFACTORY: old spice deodorant and some mid-tier cologne he got for his birthday. those with a particularly sensitive sense of smell might be able to pick up a faint whiff of ammonia and solvents, remnants of his last 'cook'.
DEMEANOR: angry, easily exasperated, frustrated, arrogant. not the most pleasant person to be around, at least at first. he'll warm up to some in time. others, he'll always be a bit of a grump around. when he does warm up to your character, he'll exhibit a dry sense of humor, protectiveness, thoughtfulness/kindness (though this is often a manipulative tactic), and loyalty (as long as it doesn't screw him over).
